Joseph Macklin

Liturgical Art & Design

The Instrumentum Dei Studio (Instrument of God) was founded in 2021 to serve the Catholic Church through sacred-based artwork. Liturgical artist Joseph J. Macklin works across a variety of artistic styles with fidelity, ensuring that each piece harmonizes with the visual program of the lead architect or the architecture of the church in which it is installed.

While his deepest hope is to create works for parishes close to home in the Diocese of Lansing, Joseph remains open to commissions beyond, wherever sacred art is needed to enrich the life of the Church.
